Big League Chew® Releases New Flavor – Big Rally Blue Raspberry

Big Rally Blue Raspberry

Akron, NY (April 5, 2018) – Big League Chew® is proud to announce the newest member to its bubble gum family, Big Rally Blue RaspberryTM.  The new flavor is currently available exclusively at all DICK’S Sporting Goods stores nationwide and will be available at additional retailers nationwide later this summer.

“Blue Raspberry is a popular flavor in kids’ candy and it just made sense to bring this flavor to our top selling brand,” said Steve Green, Sr. Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Ford Gum. “DICK’S Sporting Goods is a strong supporter of Big League Chew.  Because of their focus on sports and national presence, we knew they would be a great partner to launch the item.”

Last summer, Big League Chew requested help from fans on social media to name the new blue raspberry flavor.  Big League Chew inventor Rob Nelson selected the final name, Big Rally Blue Raspberry, from more than 300 different entries.

“This is the first new flavor of bubble gum that we’ve released in years and it’s always so exciting to see the fans’ reactions,” said Nelson. “We often hear fun alternative name suggestions for our current line of flavors, so it made sense to turn to our audience when naming our newest flavor. We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy Big Rally Blue Raspberry.”

“Baseball season is right around the corner and Big League Chew represents a youthful nostalgia that our customers of all ages enjoy. We are thrilled to be the first retailer to bring the newest flavor, Big Rally Blue Raspberry, to our customers,” added Chris Collins, Marketing Manager, DICK’S Sporting Goods.

Other flavors of Big League Chew shredded bubble gum include Outta Here OriginalTM, Ground Ball GrapeTM, Swingin’ Sour AppleTM, Wild Pitch WatermelonTM, Slammin’ StrawberryTM, and Curveball Cotton CandyTM. Big League Chew products are available in retailers across the country, including DICK’S Sporting Goods, Dollar General, Five Below, Target and more.
